School Secretary [on my classroom phone right before 1st period]: Mr. Hall, your student-teacher is here.

Me: Um . . . .what?

School Secretary: Your student-teacher. He's here in the main office.

Me: Um!! What?!

Me: No one told me anything about a student-teacher

School Secretary: Oh. Well, he's here. He's going to be following you and observing your classes all day.
